ariesfoolmoon reflects on the creation of "PP&bb" and "Weird Fishes"

"Throughout 2025, I was spending most of those months working on my next album and in the midst of that, I just had the random urge to cover 2 songs that I feel are possibly some of the most beautifully composed songs that have been written, in my lifetime at least.

My next album is me sharing my heart in a deeper, more intimate, raw way because I've grown even more. It feels almost like a reintroduction to anyone who knows me, knew me or will soon meet me, because I've gone through somewhat of a reintroduction with my own self, as we all do. I've gotten much closer to the guitar and bass and I have a drum kit now that I've been banging on for the album I'll be releasing soon, and I've written some pretty up-front lyrics that have taken me on a healing journey... it's been a lot of energy exerted so far, especially with playing all of these instruments and engineering myself.

So these 2 songs are more like a lighthearted break in between writing my own songs. Andre 3000 & Thom Yorke are both artists who have deeply inspired me since my teen years, and this is me just putting my own twist on them both and having some fun! I have to have fun in making art because that's what it should be, anyways; The world is dark enough and I refuse to let being an artist feel heavy, so I want that to reflect in these 2 covers.

I made and released these songs at the end of Winter; it was a really sweet and reflective cycle and I hope they inspire someone to just be free in their own creativity."
